Colin has been involved in the fire safety industry for over 17 years. He has worked with local fire authorities in Hertfordshire & Essex. Colin is a Graduate of the Institute of fire engineers & a member of The Fire Protection Association. In addition to work with DC fire Safety Colin is also a trainer & consultant to the Fire Protection Association. 
 

RESILIENCE 

Declan Lynch MSc, FIFireE 
Declan has worked within the fire industry, disaster & continuity management for over twenty years. Declan has experience working with local fire authorities, the ministry of defence fire service as well as financial institutions & high risk industries including, refineries, chemical plants & fuel storage depots. Declan is a fellow of the institution of fire engineers. 
 

THE INSTITUTION OF FIRE ENGINEERS 

The IFE was established in 1918 and upholds professional standards within all public and private fire sectors by offering assessment of knowledge, experience and development and engages with major stakeholders to offer international conferences. The IFE identify and promote good practice and enhance technical networks worldwide. The IFE is also an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation. Members are involved in a number of areas such as: fire dynamics including ignition, chemistry and toxicology. The IFE consults with government in the drafting and implementation of fire safety legislation and regulations; structural fire protection of buildings; fire insurance and arson investigation.
